The Idea

The Idea of "Bloody Hands" is strikingly simple: People paint their hands red because of this existing idea. That's it.

If you want to be a part of this, you may simply do it without reading any further.

Obviously there is much more to it.

Browse through the blog to get an impression. My first writing about the idea you find here. Letter to Jean-Paul Niko

"Bloody Hands" consists of
  1. The idea as art.
  2. The execution as art product of the primary idea to be seen as performance, installation, the human as (mobile, thermodynamic) sculpture, happening, social sculpture or however you want to call it.
  3. The reflection as art product of the idea and/or its execution as "gesamtkunstwerk" which I call Ueber-Art to "Bloody Hands". And yes, this is (anti)-platonic as in "divine madness" and Nietzsche as in something the Ueber-Mensch would do to become who he is. It can be any type of art such as, music, poetry, painting, dancing, djing, you name it, you are potentially the artist.
  4. The effective social sculpture. The term goes back to Joesph Beuys, but though he has had major impact on the art scene, I have good reason to see him as an idiot. I talked to many artists who knew him personally and his occult and Rudolph Steiner cult stuff is not for me. He definitely did not succeed with his social sculpture to a sufficient degree. Let's make that better.
